Guests come to our resort to enjoy every season along the Blue Ridge
Parkway - to escape the heat of summer, gaze in awe at autumn
colors, experience the thrill of downhill skiing or snowboarding, or
to hike and watch the spring foliage awaken in the mountains. Repeat
guests consider our Inn a home away from home.
While climbing, rafting or canoeing satisfies some, shopping and
relaxing with the family attract others. Within a five minute walk,
shoppers delight over the boutiques and restaurants in the village
of Blowing Rock. A five minute walk in the opposite direction puts
guests at Shoppes on the Parkway, an excellent outlet mall.
Those who love to walk, run or ride horses find a safe haven here,
where the mountain breeze smells fresh and where paths lead through
town, around lakes and ponds, through woods or beautiful gardens,
and the city park. Sitting on a park bench overlooking Main Street,
eating an ice cream cone and watching the world go by, is a favorite
pastime at the park. Local attractions include golf, white water
rafting, Tweetsie Railroad, The Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain,
“Horn in the West” outdoor drama, Appalachian Ski Mountain, home of
the French Swiss Ski College to name a few. We have
