In early 1997, the
Meadowbrook Inn opened the Annex, which boasts some of the most extravagant rooms
in the High Country. Richly appointed with regal fabrics and
furnishings, each room features a terrace, gas fireplace and
whirlpool tub for two. Suites also have a wet bar, refrigerator and
microwave.
One of our most popular additions is the Pool Suite. In addition to
a separate master bedroom and living room with a queen-sized sleeper
sofa, what appears to be a closet leads you down a spiral staircase to
your own private swimming pool.
These private pools are 8 feet wide, 16 feet long, and 4 feet
deep - the first in-room swimming pools in the Carolinas! These
rooms are perfect
for a romantic getaway, or for families who want a
self-contained vacation spot.
Many guests love the charm and style of the suites in the Main
Building. Each has a four-poster king bed, a separate living
room with a sleeper sofa, 2 TVs, microwave and refrigerator, large
dressing room with a wet bar, and a large bathroom. Each has an
adjoining standard room to create a wonderful, spacious
accommodation for a group or family. Two of these, our VIP Suites,
also have a whirlpool tub for two and a fireplace.
